About
I was born in Ostrava, where I studied at the Janáček Conservatoire. From there my path led to Prague and DAMU, where I graduated in dramatic acting.
Theatre has long been an important part of my life. Since 2004 I have worked with Prague’s Činoherní klub, where I still perform today. I have had the chance to work with many inspiring directors and colleagues, to try different genres and to look for new ways of telling stories.
Alongside theatre, I work in film and television. For ten years I was part of the series Ulice, and I have appeared in projects such as Případy 1. oddělení, Metoda Markovič: Straka and the German miniseries Pod jedním nebem, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel.
I like humour, perspective and things that are not entirely black and white. And even after years in this profession, I still enjoy that I never know exactly what story will come next.
